Our Marketing & Sales department principles follow many of the common practices of the profession, including a very high regard for relationship sales and a passion for meeting our customer's needs.  Our marketing strategies as well as our reputation have all contributed to driving our sales and thus earning Fab-Tech the distinction as Vermont's Exporter of the Year for 1999.
Our organization structure is inclusive of inside sales positions, new market development, technical sales engineer, graphic artist, marketing coordinator, and engineering / CAD technicians.

JOB TITLE: Industrial Market Salesperson
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Director of Industrial Markets
FLSA STATUS: Full time, Exempt
SUMMARY
The Industrial Market Salesperson will be responsible for selling to existing industrial accounts and seeking out and developing new customer relationships.  This position requires strong sales and relationship building skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
-  Seek out and develop relationships with end user, architectural engineering, general contractor, and mechanical contractor personnel in target industries.  Use these relationships to identify and sell project opportunities.
-  Manage existing customer and contractor relationships and generate sales in the established customer base.
middot;  Participate in the training and direction of the external sales rep force.
-  Attend key trade shows and conferences exhibiting Fab-Tech products and technologies.
-  Deliver product presentations to potential new customers, contractors, end users, and A&E firms to increase market awareness of Fab-Tech products and technologies.
-  Assist in the identification, quantification, and specification of new product opportunities for development.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
-  50% to 75% domestic travel anticipated.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
-  At least five years of field sales experience in industrial products with a demonstrated track record of having achieved significant sales contracts in the industrial products market.
-  Experience in the wastewater processing industry highly desirable.
-  Experience selling manufactured products to mechanical contractors.
-  Experience selling product to industries requiring a third party installation contractor (customer) preferred.
-  Experience selling corrosion resistant products preferred.
-  Current relationships with manufacturers with corrosive applications preferred.
-  Current relationships with prominent mechanical contractors, industrial architectural, design, engineering and construction firms a significant plus.
-  Experience working with external sales reps/agencies a plus.
-  Proven ability to develop customer relationships and close sales contracts in complicated and competitive bid scenarios.
-  Excellent verbal and written sales presentation skills.
-  Ability to effectively negotiate contracts.
-  Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff to generate sales.
-  Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
-  Detail oriented, organized and thorough with follow up.
-  Bachelor's degree preferred.
